Extended Day & Summer School Programs

The Area Learning Center offers a variety of learning opportunities through our Extended Day Programs, Winter Break Session, Spring Break Session, Summer Session and Homeschooling. 

Minneapolis Kids School Age Care

Minneapolis Kids is a fee-based, year-round Minneapolis Community Education program that offers fun, high-quality care before school, after school, during winter and spring breaks, on school release days, and during summer vacation.

MPS Transportation Services

Student bus stop locations are determined based on the student’s home address, with transportation available to a school located within district attendance areas.

Nutrition Services

Did you know that MPS serves local food in our school meals? It’s a win-win – we support our neighboring farmers, and our kids love the fresh, flavorful food!
